Best 'diy' Stage One Kit?

As detailed by this post;
http://www.theminifo...s/#entry3602178
I have been having continuous exhaust issues mostly stemming from it being too low on the car as shown by the pictures in that thread. It was recommended I just replace the whole thing which makes sense. I like the stage one kits that minisport sells like this;
https://www.minispor...pipercross.html
And i also like the sound of my current exhaust. However, I've always had a soft spot for the twin exit centre exhausts like this;
https://www.maniflow...00&product=1251
My question is what is the best way of building the system bit by bit as i can't find a kit that comes with all the parts i'd like.
Thanks!

But if things have been over tightened and distorted then the tubes will need to be made round again.
The Minisport one looks like it is basically the same.
If you are going to be paying someone to fit it get them to suggest one as they will know it and fit it right.
For me any Maniflow or MiniSpares RC40 range.

The best one is the one you have just fit it correctly maybe changing the clamps to better ones.

To be honest I'd just rather get it done properly and know that it's going to work as it should all the time. I was looking at this;
https://www.maniflow...56&product=1088 for the headers
in conjunction with this;
https://www.maniflow...00&product=1247 for the rest of the system
and then this fitting kit;?
https://www.maniflow...ct&product=1224
Is there anything else that i'd need, doesn't look quite long enough like that...
Thanks

Personally I'd get a stainless system over any Maniflow mild steel system.
Hi Steve, I was working my way through your build log yesterday, love it! What makes you say that? Is it purely from a rust/corrosion stand point or are there any other issues? The only issue for me is being a student, budget has to be carefully considered!
Thanks

Haven't heard about him. he's about 40 mins from me. Do you have any idea how much he'd charge for the fitting and tuning? Budget is a concern here :)

Rust is the main issue, but you're spending £350+delivery for a mild steel system. You can get the RC40 exhaust for much less from minispares.

Yeah think it does come to about £370 with all the kit (including some high temp paint which would help the rust issue?). I was just thinking it would be worth it for the knowledge that it would work as wanted without any fuss and I do love the look of the two centre exits. What exhaust are you running on your great build?

On another note, will I have to keep the cat? I assume that its necessary to pass the MOT?
