Has anyone ever seen one of these centre consoles before? I've searched the net and can't find anything. The sticker on the inside says for Austin rover Mini 1976 on not 1275gt. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Not that one and it has no arm rest but a copy of the Mini Special Centre Console which I always thought fitted in well, is available here:-

As far as I know, the only factory centre console was in the Mini 1100 Special (1979). That one pictured looks similar but isn't the same (there should be a hole for a clock and grill for speaker).

That absmotorsport one looks to be a fair copy but without the details of the factory version.

To me, that doesn't look like an Austin/British Leyland OE sticker, but I may be wrong and happy to be corrected.

The reason I think it's after market is because it shows which models it will fit (1976 onward, but not 1275GT). I think if it was OEM then there'd be a date sticker (maybe separate, like a price sticker sort of thing) on there, a part number number as opposed to model number and it probably wouldn't be as high quality/glossy... Again, correct me if I'm wrong!

Either way, looks like a nice console and tidies that area of the interior up nicely :-)

No I definitely never thought it was OEM. Was just hoping I could find out who made them and if there were more out there
