After removing masking tape today I looked at the dusty mess and thought"put the boot boards back in and cover that up"As the car is Racing green I do not intend to respray it so should I paint it?or leave it with a mix of original paint and green brush paint?
Curious as to some of your views.Steve..

If I was looking for another Mini I don't think a scruffy repair would put me off if it was solid/well done.
I would probably rather see some repairs then to be told the body work is fine but is actually full of newspaer and filler.
Of course if the boot or floor is like a patchwork quilt I might try and get some money off!
As for painting, I can't talk. My car is probably 6 or 7 different shades of Blue...

You dont say are you selling it or not? If its for you and you are happy, leave it alone.
If selling it and it hasnt been painted until now Id be inclined to leave it so the purchaser can see what they are getting. New shiny paint before sale could be a bit suspicious.

If someone intends to buy a car and go down the concourse route, I would imagine that no matter how well hidden your repairs were the car would be getting stripped back and built from the ground up anyway.
