Hi all, just in the process of refitting head and charger following a small top end overhaul. Engine is 1293 with Eaton dual injection / Emerald charger setup. I am using MED 1.3 roller tipped rockers.

I saw some advice to use the feeler blade from the side, vs the front so it does not roll in like a metal panel shaping tool.

I have no idea what they were gapped to before I removed them. Given the non standard spec I guess following the Haynes book won’t be correct, ie 12th and 15th.

The valve seats and valves have just been re-cut at machine shop so should be sealing well, its not been run for a few months.

Just wandered what the general feeling was, 12th across all or a mix?

Cheers!

Normally the camshaft will have a spec sheet with the valve clearances.

Its a standard SPi block and as far as I know the original cam. I just spoke to MED who advised if its the same cam, 12th on all 8 rockers.
