hello from london

hello! did everyone have a good christmas?
im from london and found the site in miniworld this morning. I have a very lovely 1980 mini 1000 in rover pageant mid blue! i love her to bits. i got her from a friend of a friend last august. i hope to pass my driving test in february so that i can take her out whenever i want and dont have to persuade my dad or boyfriend to come sit with me! im 22 for god's sake and i want to drive my own car!
so far i have (and when i say "i" i mean my boyfriend and other mini nutters!) put in new halogen headlamps, filled most of the rust holes, t cut the whole thing inside and out, changed to chrome wipers, chrome grille with grille buttons.
at the moment i am looking for someone to respray my roof as it has had quite a dodgy respray at some point and is a bit stripy
anyway happy new year!

hello, christmas was ok, not very exciting as i was too tired to celebrate.
you are on page 25 in miniworld, in the blue "note" box, under the heading "on the minternet" and also "up the clubs" so i figured anyone with two mentions on the same page must be worth a look!
funny you hould say about the links as i actually added you last night. unfortunately i am not the webmaster, i run the old version of the site. i do all the updates on there and when james has the time he copies it all over to the new one. so if you would like to see the updated verion (still including notes to james mind) and yourself on the links page then go to www.geocities.com/southern_miniacs
