Tighten it more as the adaptor is a taper thread. Some thread lock/sealer can help.

ptfe tape on the threads but make sure you don't allow any to enter the oil feed.

i had same issue fitting mine, i used ptfe tape - both ends as had a leak at dash too (very messy) and did not over tighten but tight enough as brass screw thread gets damaged easily
i also used side exit of t-piece rather than straight ahead exit

Got it all apart now, I’m reluctant to use ptfe tape as I’ve seen conflicting information about it, I think a loctite would be more suitable something like 243?
I gotta agree on the PTFE Tape. Yes, I just use 243. Most thread lockers will also seal, just don't use the Red ones.
