Is it a single or a Duplex (double) chain?
If it is single, change it for a Duplex set-up. If it is already a Duplex, just fit a new one.
If fitting new chain sprockets, make sure you re-time the cam using offset woodruff keys.
More info on this if you need it will be forthcoming.

Thanks, so currently it's a single although it looks new (chain in good condition no sign of wear on the teeth) but if you say it's worth upgrading then I will. What advantage does the duplex system have? And looking like I will need some information on resetting the timing as il be replacing the lot. There also doesn't appear to be a tensioner is that odd?Is it a single or a Duplex (double) chain?
