Hi, putting my restored mpi back together, a couple of labels have gone astray during storage. In the engine bay, first picture in of a brownish/ orange wire of moderate size the is sheathed plastic and fabric loose covering, as if it heat protection it at the front o/s by the starter motor, no connector, can't see anything it will reach other than solenoid but that already has 2 connection's. 2nd picture is right by the horn n/s inner wing. It will reach approx 4 " from that being part of the same loom. Same connector as rad fan but thats already catered for on a post central of the car on the rad itself. Listing this as a last resort. Thanks in advance Attached File  20201117_190907.jpg   35.79K   2 downloadsAttached File  20201117_190810.jpg   44.64K   2 downloads

Same connector as the rad is the easy question,  Japanese Minis had a side mounted rad, UK Minis had front mounted so Rover just made one loom that fitted either variant.

(you'll also find a thick red wire from B7 fuse going up to the roof for the optional electric fabric sunroof).

Not sure on the brownish/orange wire, poss for the starter motor (it should have three wires, one black, one brown, & one red).

If it is brown, it looks like it broke at the fusible link splice joint SJ7 per the wiring diagram, which would be missing together with the eyelet terminal, C823-1/C178-1. This circuit feeds the front fog lamp relay fuse.
