After having a few minis back in our yoof, a few years back we ended up completing the ultimate downsizing exercise when we swapped our Range Rover for an '89 mini. Joined the forum at that point as I had plans, but like all good plans.....nothing happened.
The poor little thing has been lurking in the garage, under a sheet, ever since with only a handful of hours attention. She's quite a looker & potentially a bit special too, on face value anyway, although there's a chequered past of course.
She's a black Mini 30 in reasonably original trim I think, but need to do some more research there as there are definitely some bits wrong.
She was destined for a future of hill climbing when I got her & I'm told there was some engine work done in that direction, before the previous owner decided to look towards fitting a Metro engine.
Anyway that's all history & I'm thinking this winter maybe the time to finally gets to grips & get her back out in the sunshine, but where to start?
Don't think she needs that much, but there in lies the problem, I've a lot to learn.
I suspect I'll have a question or two, if that's OK?
