Cooper Sportspack Bonnet Stripe Colour ?

Hi all I’m at the final stage on the restoration now and about to fit the white bonnet strips and decals down the side on my 1998 Mini Cooper Sportspack, the car is Tahiti blue with a white roof and mirrors, the white paint is the proper colour it should be but I’ve offered up the bonnet strips and they are really white compared to the roof and wing mirrors, they are Minispares stripes, is this normal they don’t match ?

Has the roof been painted the original shade of white?

I have no direct experience of the bonnet stripes, but I would be surprised if they don't darken, slightly, with age and weathering.

My '98 JDM Cooper has the bonnet and side strips in a purer white than the roof which is Diamond White (NAL).

Seems like it must be right then, looked at a few and they look different too, they look ok now fitted actually
