1996 Rover Mini Cooper.  Both my temp and fuel gauges have failed. I don't know why.  They were working when disconnected but don't work after reconnection.  From discussions on this forum, I believe that the voltage stabilizer in the 3-clock housing has failed.  I have a separate temp gauge fitted.  I have a fuel gauge that I would like to connect too. (I find it hard to see the middle clock). I have a 10 volt lead for one side of the fuel gauge but need to connect the other side to the fuel tank sender.  I cannot figure out which of the wires is the "sender".  Other discussions mention a green/black wire. Is that it?

Correct Green/Black is the wire from the gauge to the sender.
