That sounds more like a slight misfire. Have you done a compression test on the cylinders ?

Runs very hot through exhaust (actual temp in car ok)
Popping and misfire noted at exhaust end
Will not stall if inlet covered up (actually runs ok)
If throttle pressed will rev itself up
Fuel cap slight hiss and smell
Things I’ll try tomorrow :-
Disconnect servo pipe and block it off from manifold
Compression test
Check all plugs and leads around inlet manifold
Check IACV (Inlet air control)
Check TPS (throttle position)
Is there anything else I can give a go ?
Thank you.
Ow yes also I’ve put a video on YouTube of it running

Check for any broken wires around the bulkhead to plugs going to the inlet manifold area, a known problem.
You really should not touch the throttle screw, it has to be set using T4.
Check for air leaks around the inlet manifold.
Check you have a spark at each sparkplug. Look at the state of the plugs.

Where are all the vacume Pipes to check ?
What spark plugs should I have in it ?
Could the leaking fuel cap make any difference ?
Cheers all going to play with it tomos only get the Saturdays at the moment so want to try lots of things ?????
Just had a thought I’ve fitted a standard mpi manifold gasket however I have a LCB fitted recently could this be an issue ? Maybe the thickness ?

I think best thing would be to inspect any and all hoses in the engine bay for signs of wear/damage.
Be sure to carry out one check at a time and test after each one, that way if something makes a difference you know what it was!

Now I think maybe a leak on the injectors (see video)
Also very strange but if I push the throttle position sensor it goes mad (see video) I’ve replaced this and the old one did the same Its not the wiring I’m pushing it’s the actual sensor itself
The actual manifold Gasket seems ok I think
