Hello everyone,

I'm just in the process of having my mk2 cooper fully restored mostly with heritage panels, currently mine is a

snowberry white with black roof but was wondering wether a completely new body colour change would devalue

the car, i do like the colour but as the panel work is nearly finished i'm thinking of another colour perhaps.

Does anyone have any thoughts about this ?

Thanks Andy :shy:

It is of course your choice and if you are keeping the Mini long term then I would choose whatever colour you prefer, stay with the standard colour range unless you are going for an in 'period' modified look. At least with a standard Mk2 black interior it is easier to change body colour than on a Mk1 interior !

If your Mini is mainly a short or long term investment or you may sell in the not to distant future, then retaining the original colour which matches the Heritage Certificate would be the best option to maximise resale value. Currently standard spec Coopers are more sought after with any mods being 'in period' like the subtle 'cafe racer' look.
