Dashboard back to original. received_946400885907548.jpeg 64.1K 1 downloads
Sort out the back end, riding too low and causing the wheel to knock on something. Poorly executed lowering, I think.

I'm pretty sure the wheels are to big, too wide or both, currently 12inch yokohama but I think they should be 10inch. Rubbing on something in the wheel arch. received_4195631247140645.jpeg 63.08K 1 downloads

Welcome - 1275GT of that year would be 12 inch wheels as standard but yours look like 6 inch wide whereas standard would be 4.5" so without the correct arch mods rubbing is almost certain at some points with 6 inch wide wheels.
Looks like plenty to do to convert back to fully standard, not least converting back to a clubman front?
I don't want to sound negative but sure others will be thinking the same as me - is this really a 1275GT that someone has gone to the trouble of converting the clubman front to a round nose or has it been re-shelled into a round nose shell
Or is it just a "standard" mini with a 1275cc engine capacity change and not actually a 1275GT?

Then again it is 42 years old so may well not be original engine or colour.
When I say back to original I meant to get it is close as possible, Dashboard going back to how it should be with either the centre clock or wood dash depending on how it came out the factory, my 75 clubman estate had two dials not three.
As for the wheels they are definitely too wide so going back to 4.5 x 12. Which means I'll have a set going on ebay and FB marketplace.
Not sure if it came with the sunroof or not but that's going to be staying.
Whether it's a GT or not I'm happy with it, overall its in good nick with only minor body imperfections, apart from the few changes I've mentioned I'm not going to be messing with it too much. Just keep on top of things and sort anything that could turn into major and expensive repair.
Thank you guys for your input. Any other advice will be much appreciated.
