I’ve got a Tim’s boost gauge installed on my 1275cc suck through supercharger set up ( Eaton m45) and at idle it shows a steady negative -0.5bar. Would that be around about where it should be under vacuum ? Does this also prove that I have no air leaks ?

It depends on so much! Cam, head efficiency etc. It's under vacuum, which is good. However a full leakdown/smoke test would be better suited.
