Help With Map Settings For Aldon Amethyst

Just wondering if anyone uses the Aldon Amethyst on here and if they could help with a base map setting to get my 1275 supercharger started and running before rolling road ?

It’s a suck through set up running 8-9psi.

I’ve set the static timing at 5 degrees BTDC as per the Hayes manual to hopefully enable the car to start and locked the mechanical advance as per instructions.

Amethyst unit has an offset option which I believe I input the 5 degree initial advance into.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Disable the fuel and use a light to check the timing is what you expect before trying to start it or adjust any offsets would be my advice,although I am not personally familiar with this setup.
It is good practice to do this with any programmable system.Incorrect timing can destroy boosted motors in minutes.Enjoy,Steve..
