I guess those who know, will know, but might help to list the cost of the parts and even any invoices (with your personal details blanked out), showing what you have spent and with whom.

yeah, I see what your saying but I’m not listing the price I paid for each individual part. I’m selling it as a job lot so put one price. The price is negotiable to a point. I’m not accepting silly dreamer prices. It’s a good project with most of the bits here. You call tell by the part in the pic. None of it is cheap. Genuine Garrett turbo, take a look at Powerlite alternators and starter motors, not cheap by any means.

Most people want a much detail as possible, maybe it's the deal of the century, but IMHO, and not knowing about turbo bitsthere could be £500, or maybe £3000 worth of turbo related bits, I've no idea, it's hard to tell the sum of all the parts, that's all!  Good luck.

Same here, I lucked out and got a 93 SPi cooper for £1800 and it’ll probably stand me the best part of £3.5K all in by the time it needs paint. but £10k is a lot of moolah for a shell still needing a resto. You can buy an Owen’s Track shell just needing paint for £6.5k!

yeah all parts carefully selected 🙂 it’s all fairly straightforward now with the amount of information available, and parts availability over the last few years has drastically increased. I’m going vtec now I think. And might keep the shell. It’s, cam ect 160bhp standard. I’ll be taking it everywhere so yeah. Reliability is a must
