I’ve looked online and can’t really see anything related to glove boxes for classic minis.

Depends on the year. None or it was part of the dash,

The ‘79 1100 Specials had and glovebox/extra shelf type cubby under the dash rail on the passenger side next to the heater and the late ‘90s Rover Minis had a had and small glovebox with a door as part of the dashboard.
I can’t think of any other factory gloveboxes.

The Riley Elf had glove boxes as standard.. the Wolsey Hornet did not

years ago when i bought wooden dash it came with a plasic jobby that was supposed to be attached to back of dash to make glovebox. threw it in the bin and made one from ply sections and a material liner,
