Well some might like it but it's not for me

They managed to make the 4 door look acceptable though in my opinion

I quite like the four door, its looks like its got that little bit extra room in the rear, the six wheel  Moke  looks interesting,

Indeed the 3 door is a hideous monstrosity.

Its nice, but it reminds me of the David Brown Minis... very rich people taking an original Mini, and transforming it into something completely new.

 

But BMC did produce almost identical Beach Minis in the early 1960's....

I have been to Mengers Garage and the work on the cars is as good as the photos and the prices reflect this. I wonder if those who bemoan the price would criticise the restoration of a Wood and Picket or Radford both just as expensive in there day , play things for those with deep pockets.
