Keep us updated on the project, i'm hoping to do a RWD vtec conversion myself before i go to uni as i won't have anything else to chuck money at. The kit on the website looks so impressive. Good Luck with all your grinding and welding.

Before I could put the hub together I had to remake the axles.... A guy at work wanted to do this for me. Turned out looking fine:
Posted Image

Been busy painting stuff to. The brackets for the chairs and the pedalbox.
Posted Image

Also remade the plates in the old engine bay. Chris gave me the tip.... Took a look at the pictures I made at Zolder from the Vtec car. Hope I took enoug away!
Posted Image Posted Image

Have a welder too! If everything is going well he'll be here on the 11th. After that I can sort things out and paint the inside of the car! Been busy sanding the inside for a great part.

Steady as she goes!

Laters!

And welded the boxes on the back. (Also put a bar between them for strengt and I can make a bracket for the exaust on it):

Oh my.... You made some good progress with the Mini man! That looks more solid now. You have done the same thing I have planned when the frame is out of the Mini again, welding those boxes on the back.

But uhmmm... ...your Mini... ...is purple on the outside and red on the inside? I like red more then purple but blue is even better :D

Can you send me some picture of the side boxes? Changing it to closed boxes is a good solution to keep water out of these hard to reach places.

Got a lot to do on the body still but it's going good overall. Keepin' busy!

For the boxes on the back: (note; this is one earlier. Finished cleaning it up a couple of days ago.)

I've made the shut by just making a plate that fit on to and welded the side an back-end. The other side has changed allready. I spot welded them in place to don't ruin the outside of the car. Afther the inside is painted black I'going to kit it shut. Will look good. =]

About the colours.... First the car was red. After that the next owner put on the zeemax kit and painted it purple. Next it will be neither of these..... :P
