Just thought I'd post some stuff about my mini as I'm new here!!
Tis a 1994 mini tahiti limited edition (one of 500), it's my 3rd mini (mini 1100 special, mini 30), I got it back in May 2003, it had just had a new front end and floor panels and a full respray in tahiti blue. I bought it as a standard tahiti, didn't stay that way for long!! On went a stage one kit with a 2" straight thru playmini DTM system, then I changed the 12" rover minilights for 13x6 Superlite alloys and group 5 arches but soon got bored!!
So off went the 13"s to a mate and on with a set of cooper s brakes and back to 10"s The best thing I've ever done to a mini (my 1100 special was on 10"s and I loved that car!!) I've done the usual thing of tarting it up with clear lenses at the rear, flat clear lenses at the front with angel eye headlamps and a cooper grill. Interior is pretty much standard apart from a 12" mountney steering wheel and the 8 ball gear knob of course! Fitted a few "boy racer" bits to beef up me traffic light cred, CD player, front comps in custom console pods, 12" boxed sub in the boot and a couple of amps to finish it off. Also have some blue undercar neons and blue in car neons in the door pockets.Plans for the future?? Interior change (black door cards, custom made door pods and a dash board) and for the outside: clubby rear bumpers front and rear (1100 stylee!) semi smooth bootlid and eventually remove the door handle so it's nice and smooth!
