well had the car for about 8 months now verious differant ideas engine wise had been considered honda vtec etc

but seeing as i got a new supercharer at the right money the other day and got a mpi block with cranks pistions etc and mpi head for £65

looks like am going to build my 3rd supercharged engine

is going to be injected and have mappable ignition

rest of the spec to follow

will be ready for the run to the ring later this year :lol:

it's a metro it must need some body work as well ?

how much do you think it will put out?

needs no bodywork at all which is why i bought it :lol:

as for thw body work car is staying standard apart from set of gta wheels and modifing the suspention

well in between sitting on the loo and throwing up most the day managed to strip head and start to modify it

basiclly just removing the exhaust bosses and making the casting a bit smoother around the sharpe egde on the roof of the exhaust passage

inlets will just get a clean up and reshaping at the back of the valve throat

then will get the chambers cnc'ed to give me the extra cc's needed to lower the compression ratio

spent about 15mins today mocking things up

as you can see supercharger will be mounted at the front with the altenator fitted below it

running a standard mpi inlet manifold so have all the sensors and injectors etc

so all i really need to buy is bottom pully and make some mounting brackets and them plumb in from supercharger to inlet manifold

have the throttle body from my old rover 820 t series turbo which will mount before the super charger

pic not very good poor lighing but you get the idea

this is cool!! should be great once done!

im wanting a charger on my new engine eventually... still have to build the engine!! lol how hard ar chargers to fit? say if i bought the kit that has the maifold and charger and needle and pulleys etc? i just love the noise!! are they reliable?
