1. The wireing - do i need to wire them in a specific way or can i just wire them how i want?
2. How to the brackets fit, the single mount type vs the lamp bar/s ?
3. Whats legal?
4. How they look, and what variations? - would really like some pictures for this.
So if anyone could help me with these things, i would be very gratefull.
Pictures and diagrams would be extremely use full.
Thanks
Chris
P.S: I searched through the forum and couldnt find what i was looking for, even in the FAQ section, so mabe there should be something?

Before:

After:

1) as for the wiring in - you have to have the spots with main beam i think, as you are not allowed them on with the dipped beam! i have them wired up so when you put main beam on, either with headlights or just flashing somebody! or you can have them on a seperate switch if they come into certain regulations i think! as for the fogs, i have them on a seperate switch so that i can turn them on and off when i like, this is the way the bloke who fitted them suggested!
i would suggest getting the wiring pack, as it comes with all the relays, fuses etc that you may need!
2) many ways of doing it, mine are bolted to the front lip on the valance! there are a number of different bars and brackets, the bars tend to wobble a bit so i have heard! brackets come in different forms, ones that keep them low, like mine are, or ones that rise them so they sit on the bonnet effectivly, or there are the bonnet pods!
3) aslong as you have just the 2 headlights on on dipped beam, with only the exceptions of fogs in the fog on dipped beam! , i think u can have as many lights as you want on main beam (as long as it is an even number) however you are allowed 3, i.e the italian job minis, if the 3rd light is withing certain measurements of the headlights!
4) many different sizes and shape, takes personal preference!

I am still slightly confused as to where and how the mounts fit.
More pics would be great guys

Mine are the wipac fogs and spots, and i have litterely drilled through the vallance and then used the brackets that came with the lights and bolted it to the vallance, just below the grill! prob not the best way of doing it though!

(I'm thinking maybe newer minis maybe?)
I've emailed minispares to see how they suggest I fit their brackets.
Will get back to you!
