Hi guys. This photo has interested me for a while for obvious reasons and was wondering if anyone had any info on it or any similar cars?

Obviously as you can tell the image itself is very old so im slightly doubtful if this specific car even exists anymore.

From memory, I remember this car being around the time of mini 30. It was built by a company and they were giving out business cards. Now you will have to take that all with a pinch of salt as I was only 10 at the time!
But im sure my dads got some pics of it somewhere.

Probably dont help that much but thats all I can remember right now.

Nope, A guy in canvey island essex.

The company was called fantasy limos and yes the car still exists, Although he has royaly screwed it by mounting it to a 4x4 chassis.
He has another red one too thats seen better days.

The founder of the company still has the two original cars so business wasnt brisk.
The conversion started at 9k many many years ago so wasnt cheap.

In its day ther grey one was really nice.

Interesting to know. I wasnt sure if it was coach built or shed built. Shame its been ruined by putting it on a 4x4 chassis. £9k is alot of money for what is only a slightly more practical car.

The idea was good but yes its alot of money.

They were built to good standard and the intention was to make them in bulk to send to japan but due to a *male chicken* up their end this never came off.

There is a white one still in japan from this company that was sent over to test, its now privately owned and is pictured in one of the recent mini mags in a japanese show recport.

I was tempted to build one myself a while back but got caught up in my fundraising so never got the time.

The grey one in your picture was in an early copy of Miniworld, might even have made the fron cover, it was abuot sept 94 but can't be sure.

I take it that prototype was developed by Austin/Morris? Looks like it has a more extended boot than a regular Mini.
