I have one from Airflow UK. Its a Softex Outdoor Car cover for a mini/fiat 500. Cost just under £100 with vat and postage. Obviously you need to ensure the car is dry before you put it on. It kept my mini dry in the worst weather (which we have had!).

I think what Cedric 998 says about the car needing to dry before being covered is well worth reiterating! If you cover a wet mini with a cover (or even, to a lesser extent put it in a garage) then that can be worse than leaving it outside!

Wouldn't like to see you investing money in a great cover but then ending up with half a tonne of moisture and condensation trapped underneath the cover that rots your mini even faster!! :D

But if you keep that in mind worth having a look around and see what you can get for your money.

Don't forget also that even if the car is dry, when rain water evaporates, it goes up.....and then gets trapped under the cover. Especially on gravel driveways.

I've seen a TR7 and a Spitfire "protected" by car covers completely disintegrate

My mini was off the road almost a year from last september and I used the halfords bog standard small car one. Granted its too big and needed weighing down at the front and back with bricks, but it's protected the mini amazingly well. I was expecting the car to disintegrate when I took the cover off a couple of weeks back but it's stood up to the weather brilliantly. It hasn't rusted anywhere.

I would say imo if you've got the money then go for the ones that fit the mini perfectly, however if you haven't then I would really rate the halfords small car cover.
