Right guys i thought it was about time i put up a project thread!

My name is Scott and i am attemping to complete a full restaration on my mini 30 with my dad buy the time London to Brighton comes around next year!

We brought the car for £100 because the previous owner thought they gearbox was shot... here are a few pictures so far:

Yeh haha it was undriveable when we went to pick it up so she said give them £100 on pickup so we did....

Then we got half way down the road towing it so my dad pulled over and had a look at it and freed of the cluch so we could drive it home so we ended up getting a pretty solid car for £100!

Yeah the progress is on going i will keep updating with lots of pic! by the way i chose to ignore the comment about us having convostaions on the phone whilst on the toilet! *Whistles*

Its going to be the same engine just rebuilt with a few goodies inside

Right guys here are a few pictures of the engine and gearbox after removing most of the other bits!









Plans for the Engine:

Rebore +20 due to one of the bores having a damaged top
Fast/Road high lift camshaft
Weber DCOE40
Performance flat top pistons
Vernier timing gear and chain to go with the Camshaft
Possible lightened flywheel and clutch

I am open to other ideas as i am still learning myself

12x6 Superstars
bullet mirrors

And lots of other shiney chrome bits

Erm interiour wise i am going to take out my bucket seats harnesses and sound system out of my cooper and put it in here

Nice dude I forgot to say you got a bargin for 100! mine was around 500 and alot worse
