i dont want to just chop it up then someone else can have it if they wanted
is it just a case of grinding off the welds? and then getting the holes in the floor welded backup?

hi, i had a 6point cage in my mini when i bought it a few months ago. i had a bit of a wrestle, but got it out after a few hours, took the seats and steering wheel out to make as much room as possible. i didnt ratchet strap it or anything, but i think if i had it would have saved me a lot of scratches to the interior, so thats a good idea. good luck with it.Using some ratchet straps to gently bend the legs in also helps tremendosuly. Failing that use some rope and a piece of wood to turn/twist the rope in the middle works just as well but a little more dangerous!!
