hey,
I've got a new Engine on the way and i need an engine stand to assemble it, i was wandering as to anyone local to me had one i could or borrow or hire for a few weeks?

You don't really need an engine stand to build up a Mini engine, just an engine hoist to lift the block ass'y onto the gearbox. I build lots of engines and have never used a stand.
