Year: 1980

If someone can do the sums and confirm my maths please.

Combustion Chamber: 16.4cc
BK450 Payen Head Gasket: 4cc (from minispares)
Piston ~1 mm from top at TDC: 4cc
21962 Pistons: 8cc dish

Standard MG Metro 1275 block,
Bore 70.61mm, Stroke 81.23mm: 318.08cc

Ratio 10.8:1

Sound ok??? with 21962 pistons, Aldon Red Dizzy with lumination electrics, 296 Scattercam, lightened flywheel, cross pin diff.

What's the max compression ratio for regular 95 unleaded?

You should use 97 octane with 10.6 CR and make sure the distributor curve is correct.

Standard unleaded is usually good for ratios up to 10:1.
