oh and and has anyone got any suggestions on what type of mini to buy?
go far and wide to get the best mini you can find, when looking just see which one appeals to you the most.
most do look the same although there will be many modified ones out there whether its slightly modified or highly modified, just find one that appeals to you and suits who your are.

minis are making silly money now, complete bodge jobs are selling for upwards of £1500 and then the very clean well loved minis are making 3-5,000 but then there is always exceptions where youll find one going for less than one full of filler
the way i see it, anything stick on can be bought afterwards - wheels, seats etc and you can pcik them up pretty cheap second hand where as body work costs hundreds
good luck finding one

oh and dont be fooled thinking the newer the mini the better - not the case!
