hi guys sorry if this question has been asked a thousand times before but i cant find the answer i need as the stupid forum wont let me search for words less then 3 letters lol

im looking to fit some wellers to my car and before i go and waste stupid amounts of money buying a cooper s or fiesta conversion i was woundering if i could get away with fitting 1" spacers on front and rear to use my wellers

i know i can grind the calipers down and i may go down that road if i have to but if i can fit spacers this would be better for me

and if i can use spacers which ones do i want to be using

anyone got any experience with spaced wellers

Yes they should fit without grinding, when using a 1inch spacers. Im pretty sure i tried 3/4" and the just cleared aswell...

In the end when i did this i went for a 10mm spacer an ground the caliper slightly...

But that only stayed for a few months before i converted to mk2 fiesta...

fiesta brakes are the way to go but i recomend non servo assisted as a couple of my mates have had a few hairy moments with the brakes
