hi,

im in the process of building up a 1293, and i am yet to get a dizzy, i have been told to get an aldon yellow dizzy, but they're a little on the expensive side and brand new out of my budget, what other options do i have?

can i use the standard one?

what negatives will occur if i do?

thanks

If its just an overbore and not uprated cam etc, just stick to the old dizzy until you can afford something better. If you have an old "points" dizzy, then it might be worth finding a second hand electronic one off a later model for reliability.
