Hi, me again

First of all take a look at this thread. Not only do I have the exact same problem but I have the same year of car too- which seems fishy.

http://www.theminifo...x...ubbing&st=0

Ive searched for hours, with no conclusion.

What can I do to stop my RH side wheel from rubbing? Ive fitted limiters. And impossibe for my cones to sag because I have coils in!

Only hint is that that particular side wheel is sticking out further on my car (the RH side) which I think maybe the cause. It drives stright and great, just when I back out of the drive way it is a pain.

Would fitting those factory shims help? Do you think its an alignment issue? Can anyone point me in the right direction here?

I had a problem with the right side rubbing on my 1990 mini city, took the front sub-frame out to find one of the towers was bent forcing the right wheel to be further forward and rub. Maybe it worth measuring from the front wheel to the back wheel on both sides and if you have a big difference, your sub-frame is prob bent. Im also running 13inch wheels which doesnt help matters!

Silly question but is there a spacer fitted on that wheel by mistake?? if not check the tie bars. You could also check the wheel centres to make sure they are the same both sides as if not this could then be a problem with the subbie.
