Unleaded heads have hardened exhaust valve seats fitted (as unleaded petrol doesn't have 'lubrication' that leaded petrol offered).
It's usually fairly easy to see if the head has inserts or not. If nothing else you will see a ring around the valve throat where you should see the change between the cast iron and the hardened steel seats.

Do you have a picture of the head you are trying to identify?
You'd need a few good quality pictures of the exhaust valve seat and throat area without the valve installed...

so if i take the vavles out ill be able to tell if the head is leaded or not

yes should see a different colour of metal to re seat the cost is around £80 if it does need new ones
