And yeh so my problem with setting it up is when i hit the pedal the revs go up and then kinda drop a little bit but the throttle doesnt seem to shut off properly. From the photos can anyone tell me if i have set this up right?

Thanks Blake

The spare lever and some of the other parts are only for use on the second carb if you have twin carbs.

I would look at putting spring washers or loctite on the holding down flat head bolts if you haven't already as they look like they may back off.

Try adjusting the threaded rod to make it shorter, which will pull the linkage to a better angle, you may have to re-adjust the throttle cable. The twin return springs should not be that stretched without the throttle pressed but adjusting the rod as above will help. Check the springs have not stretched and gone slack as they will be ruined, which will cause your throttle to stick open.

Also the long tag on the carb spindle end of the link is not used unless you have twin carbs, cut it off out of the way, or use it to attach an extra light throttle spring if required.
