1988 Henley Blue Mayfair

Condition: Good
Price: £1200
Location: Wellingborough, Northants
TAX: Until November '11
MOT: Until May '12

Hi

The time has now come for me to sell the mini. The car is very solid with not much rust. It is stripped out so you theres nowhere for it to hide!! It flew through its MOT in May and hasn't been driven since. I have recently put a low mileage 998 (40,000) back into it.

Spec is as follows;

88 Mayfair in Henley Blue
Low Mileage Stage 1 998
Rear Seat base and door bins removed
Rear safety devices cage
Recently refurbed front hubs
4 Pot alloy calipers
5x10 minilite wheels (like new)
New rear subframe and reconned radius arms 2 years ago
Solid underneath
F/G boot and bonnet

Will come with a load of spares including original interior, boot bonnet, doors, wheels and rear opening windows.

Pictures below, more can be seen in my project thread (see link in sig)

Heres a link to my photobucket account mate, should be a load in there:

I took it autotesting twice a year max. This was on hardstanding with loose dirt. Always gave it a thorough clean straight away afterwards.

Just a quick note about your harnesses...

Are both the passengers and drivers mounted to the same fitting? If so this really isn't a good idea as in the event of a crash that little bolt will have the weight of both the passenger and driver on it. Also they really shouldn't be fitted to the parcel shelf as this just isn't strong enough, they're better mounted lower down at the base of the rear seat as this area is much stronger.

Good luck with the sale.

Thanks for the replies. Both harnesses are bolted into the original seat belt mounts (base of rear seat at the back) so all reinforced, and in seperate mounts.
