Heya.. thought an update was needed. car passed it mot back in january.. passed first time ^_^

here is how the car looks at the moments... taken at brooklands mini day.

Posted Image

with my old mini (now my sisters)

Posted Image

still got some work to do on it..

- exhaust has cracked on the bend going to the manifold.. will be buying a rc40 system
- got a metro rad off ebay for £15, so will be mounting that at the front.
- thinking off getting a cabon fibre boot.. but that will have to wait till i have more cash..

will be doing the london 2 brigton run for the first time in a few weeks, which will be good.

well thats all, next update hopefully will not be as far apart..

damn.. it been a long time since i updated this.
where to start.

car now has a rc40 and lcb fitted as the old exhaust snapped on the motorway.. funfun
managed to fit the front faceing rad. works quite well

started to get low oil pressure.. not good

about a month ago my diff pin snapped :dontgetit:
this broke the gearbox casing, dumping all the oil all over the road.

Posted Image Posted Image

quite impressive

as the garbox was needed to come off, thought it would be easyer to get a new engine

found this on ebay

Posted Image

standard metro engine.

fitted the mg metro head and cam and a duplex chain
should be fitting it in the next couple of days :dontgetit:

a way from the engine ive bought my self one of these.

Posted Image

aceweel digi dash
hopefully this will mean i wont have to use my gps for speed.

future plan:
thinking it time to lower the car.. so will be looking into kits..
i've decided i want to go down the supercharger route. will be building up the parts over time.. may take a while.

thats all for now :(

Matt
