Hey,

Ive not really left many messages on this forum, but here I am and here is my mini restoration so far! This is my first project car, it turned into a project car after I had a crash in Nov 2005, it has been in the bodyshop ( Autovision ) for the past 10 months been pulled apart, sanded back, welded together, full-respray etc etc. All comments welcome.

Thanks guys for the positive responses. It still has a few more touches until its complete. I have my wheels to choose still and I am also having the interior re-trimmed etc (when i've saved up for a few months.) So it will all be spik and span for 2008!
Can't wait!

Hey guys,

Here are some fresh pic's of the mini looking nice and clean.

Done it's first few hundred miles since the restoration too. No serious problems, but discovered water slushing about in my doors driving home from Manchester; slightly worrying but now sorted with a handy drill. :w00t:

Looks lovely, I like white minis, i'm biased though as mines white, LOL

So where did the water get in? I assume you drilled the bottom of the doors?

Yes, I drilled holes in the bottom of the doors. Not sure exactly how the water was getting in, but ill be replacing both door seals and window strips soon. Sunroof causing a few problems too :w00t:
