hi guys and galls,

i have just joined this forum, looking for some influence etc that i can take a put onto my VW Lupo. it is hugely influenced by the air cooled VW scene but want to bring a different style to it now that i have some money.

it has been very very much a budget project, just something i can have fun with.

its had a few small mag feature, and is quite popular at the shows and on the roads, so i enjoy it!

any way, here we go...









had these on for a day, but the the tyres were too big and rubbed like a *horrid woman*!

Wow, that is one uber kool Lupo! Id have one of these as my other car if I could afford it! Theres ones near me thats got a sort of, burnt/rusty effect bonnet (not too sure how to explain it!) but it looks awesome!

no way! is it bright green? with black steels?

if so i know that guy, hes a legend!

p.s thanks. they are really cool cars, especially once you have coilovers, bounces down the road and feels just like a go cart, hence the 'real new mini'!

yeah i think he does. it is really cool, he bought it off one of my really good mates. give him a beep and a wave next time you see him, he loves the attention! haha

oh and just to confirm that is a rusty bonnet, stripped of paint and left for mother nature to do he worse! haha

Hehe kool. The seats in it are really low down, you can hardly see the person driving it!

yeah he has mk4 GTi recaros in it i dont know how he can drive it sat so close to the floor±! haha

i have measured my disks and i believe that i would be able to get a set of 12" wheels on. now, what i want to know is how big do tyres come? i need quite a lot of profile so that i can actually clear the tarmac, a bit of scrubbing is fine, but i do that now on 13's. so...what would you recomend on 12's? 165 70? perhaps?
