it wont run with the twin carbs. gy needles fitted mixture set 16 flats/2.6 turns. 3 psi fuel pressure. It should run theoretically. :(

Perhaps the settings for your car are a bit different? Like maybe the mixture needs to be a bit richer?

i had a lada 2105, fitted a 1600 engine, cam with bits etc, it ran fine at first, but went onto 3, looked at everything, it had a single 45 with a rae sharret inlet, all looked ok, could i find out what? so i tookt he head off, put it back on, fitted twin 40s t hat i had , starndard dizzy, back to the golf one, differnt fuel, engien back out to rae, back in, all was ok, what was up?
6 months of proper upset, my heat shield under the 45 had loosened a bolt that held the chokes...

Any bodyshops in merseyside, preferably close to Rainhill to replace my O/S/ outer sill, possibly more. Already tried The Mini Restoration Company and they are fully booked until Christmas basically. :( Need to get the car done for MITP.

What a joke! sent a e-mail to maniflow for a fitting kit for my maniflow inlet/twin hs2 set-up, and sent me a reply saying they don't supply one, and suggested Burlen. Having a laugh given the money I spent. GRRR!
