Now you have the pistons you may as well carry on.

The original crank will happily take sustained abuse of 7000+ rpm.

I had a fairly well balanced and worked crank take power to past 9000rpm and over 10000 on down changes.

Literally none around. I got some form of bodge classic racing thin on mine, hole in the weber box and a load of ducting!!:P

Yeah I can't wait to send engine of for machining now the the big build can start about June engine should be sent off a nice receipt for the mini folder £700 on machining

nice, does it have the stamped 12G938 as per the link? muct have been drilled by someone who was building a go engine, hence double V springs! whats the porting work like if any??

Hot rod nights there are brilliant... burnouts, doughnuts and some real nice cars. Dad's been to a busy mini night there, but everything I've been the mini nights are quite quiet :(

Mine aren't screwed in even. The bottom cushion just slots in behind the front lip on the seat bottom.Top hangs over the seat back edge. Once I have the car back and going I'll probably need to do something with that...although I did manage to stuff the seatback with new padding!
