Cut out ?? I am talking about the removable round bits that sit in the head and what should be matched

Yeah they sit In the ports, if the heads been modified then usually the slots for these have been machined out to make the ports bigger. Strange you still have the slots for them. And the ports want to be matched size wise to the weber inlet manifold:)

Nar I don't think so I spoke to them last week and the idea I got they was normal as I rung up for width measurements and my mate bought a set from them years ago and they are the normal ones

I had the same trouble, have you got a Dremel or a die grinder? If you have try get a tungsten carbide bur and just slowly cut into one side of the race, once your al the way through it will just pull out

Yeah I might try that tomorrow I see on the net some one used 2 1 inch washers with a flat plate a bolt and nut used as a puller

I tried the washers but didn't work too well on the input shaft nose bearing. But worked on the idler bearing
