The colchester Lathe company?
Dec 26 2012 03:53 PM -
Globule
Lots of chinese ones are based on the Myford which I imagine would be perfect for what you need, and avoids the premium associated to the Myfords. I think the colchester ones will be too big, and most likely 3 phase!

Any perticular brands? Looking for a second hand one because I don't want to really spend more than 350 - 400.. Not a lot I know but it's not like I need a hugely amazing one..

Yep! Used the dynax cavity wax s80 i think its called, really good. Goes a very long way to.
Not actually owned any cars i've used it on long enough to test it properly though.
The smell takes a long time to go when you use it internally!

Built up radius arms and installed on subframes earlier. All with a cast on my right hand and a bust thumb. Some say I'm badass.

Nice work. Gamekeeper's thumb injury or another way? Did mine in 12 years ago trying to knock down a kick and wrecked it completely. Bad sign when the hand surgeon says "Well there's SOMETHING wrong with it, but I don't really know what. Want me to cut it open?" Good luck with it.
