cut some out of plastic:) weight saving and good bragging rights! just take a template from the widow aperture and keep trimming to fit in the rubber

Just throw away the ECU and injectors, buy yourself an HIF44 and mechanical fuel pump. Simples.

Most of the things that make the SPi different to the normal carb engine need to be replaced when going turbo anyway - like the carb, ecu(megajolt), fuel pump, head etc

if i fit the boot lining kit (wooden one) would this be enough support for the fuel tank or is the strap still needed?

I felt the same but so glad i was when i broke down on the way to brands hatch,towed and fixed by the other lads! If i had been on my own i wou l d of had to get t h e recovery services out!
