Flippin' heck... I really should check what I order from Minispares before trying to fit it to the car... or better still, check it before I pay!! Anybody fancy a new & unused handbrake cable for a pre '76 saloon? >.<

Note to self; When removing a fog-light from the bracket, hold onto it, not just the bolt. Otherwise it'll fall & smash on the floor...

Anybody know of a Mini friendly rolling road in North Devon? Anywhere around the Barnstaple or Tiverton areas?

Electronic ignition.. Anyone able to point me in the right direction for a decent, road going kit for a standard 998?

    If you're willing to part with about £300 pounds, the Megajolt system is the best.

Anyone into American cars? The 10th generation Mustang looks awesome! Interested to see how it handles a straight four up front though..

    I cant seem to find if the V8 is coming to the UK though, I read/heard it was only the 2.3l twin turbo.. Hope we do get both options though.. But its good they're selling in right hand drive too!

    Got an elementary question now; Whats the difference between these two kits? (Apart from the obvious - carb needle);

    Buying a needle seperately will give you a cheaper version Stage I kit but with a LCB rather than a Freeflow type.
    Not really shore what it means but im going for the one with the needle

Some little buggers nicked my nice shiny dust caps. Anyone know if Minispares ones come as a set of 4 or are they sold individually?

Rivets - 'pop' or 'pot'? I've always thought they were 'pop rivets' but a mate referred to them as 'pot rivets' the other day - which one of us has fallen out of the crazy tree? :S

So with the good weather yesterday, I seized the moment & gave the Mini a scrub. It clearly rained in the night & I drive to work on a wet road. Passing 4 HGVs one after another - now the car is plastered in grime.. Again! >:(

    Go for 10" Rose Petals, as said 12" look off and even more odd if you have arches.

Engine not turning over very quickly/not turning over at all, Solenoid clicking 90% of the time while starting (or trying to).. Yet the battery still has 12.5v in it. Had it on charge over night - Turning over much quicker but the Solenoid still clicks.. Confused.. Any ideas?

    This is strange.. Had the above issues last week. It died on the weekend (prompting me to put the status), stuck a battery charger on it over Sunday night & it started with some difficulty this morning. Just took the car out this afternoon (with a chase car), several stops to see what it was like & there was no problems starting. The solenoid only clicked once, on one of the half dozen starts... Its booked in with the garage for Thursday, so I'll see what they say.. >.<
