All, the other bidders ID's are private so I can't see what else they have bid on. Suspiciously you can't see the details of any item the seller has either sold or bought, it's all private. Very odd. I think i'll walk away from this one.

think I might walk as well, with the other bids gone my current bid is £1 short of my max, so it looks like its been bid up until they worked out my max then pulled back. or am I being paranoid?

I never accept a second chance offer as you know the seller has asked their mates to bump the price up for them. Sometimes I send them a message with my original offer and if they don't accept I walk away... metaphorically

I also notice how other drivers attitudes differ towards me when i'm driving my mini as opposed to my euro box. People treat me really badly in the mini - more cutting up etc, etc. I wonder if it's becuase they think they'll get 'stuck' behind me or inconvenienced somehow because i'm in an older car.
