Bless her, just need to make sure it's someone that wants a mini thirty for a mini thirty not to trash it. I know Ben - she's not being used enough now :( will get another at somepoint... funds from mini will turn into a conservatory or garage - if its a garage ill have spare to get one I can play with!

I always cut them into small chunks. Much faster. I now have an image of you trying to boil up large baking potatoes whole! pulling your hair out because they are taking so long lol

I just got a quote from the mini garage I use Steve220, that was with it fitted so would assume he's looking at non genuine. Yeah even though I've been driving her just knowing that yesterday on the way home I was pootling along just incase!

That would be good, however had a chat with Dad & the jag he restored & sold is now going through a legal battle due to the salesman selling the buyer another car & wanting his deposit back from my Dad (however the modifications he's done to suit the buyer were more than the deposit) & his chevy is back in the garage for an engine rebuild as well as the corvette ss engine he building....so no room (or time) for the mini :(

Yeah never lived together but always been really close. He's already up for teaching me how to weld so makes sense to kinda do a complete thing together, I'll offer to pay for bits needed etc plus he restores & sells on classics in his spare time so got the workshop space and everything needed. then have a summer time only mini :)

They are just dearer to insurer and use more fuel. I must admit though, i do miss having an auto sometimes. I've had two, both cruising cars and you just waft along effortlessly munching up the miles :)

Ha Vinay yeah used to love driving her, could be worse I guess. Yes Ben passed my test & jumped straight into the mini for 3 years now the golf. Lol blacktulip Im only 27, just nice to have an "easy" car with some luxuries. Luke I got back in the mini and thought how on earth did I drive this everyday :( . Pingu that's the thing I do miss, saw 3 minis in 1 day and I was in the stupid golf boo!

Yeah think that's what it is, just enjoying how easy it all feels :) Plus with all my family being atleast a couple of hrs away it's nice to know I've got a car that will be a bit more comfortable to get there in!
