I recon my vectra would come back with more issues if I tried to MOT it. MIssing O/S/R wheel might be the first...

£25 from a main national company is about right. we all know not to bother with these places. im suprised that you are suprised. that price for the A539's isnt too bad at all. is that for 10" or 12"?

12"

Yup main dealers are always a con. Thats about the right price for the a539's, was going to get some myself from black circles for £63.50 w/double clubcard points, but looking at 10" now.

Hit a pothole and snapped the front cross member straight down where the lower steady bolts to. I'm south of Guildford but have possibly found a replacement

Had the same on my Cooper.
Bit of alignment and welding fixed it

I've snapped one in the same place going over a pothole too, luckily second hand front subframes are quite cheap

Keys were stolen nowhere near home so I think in that respect I'm safe, CCTV footage has been caught of the offender so hopefully they can be caught

My keys were in my girlfriends bag which was handed in when we went ice skating in Brighton last night. Her bag was handed back to a group of 3 girls who described her bag. She lost her bag, her house keys, her license, card and money along with my car keys. Fortunately the rink will be paying out in full for any losses caused. Just an absolute nightmare

this annoys me too! doesn't it mean 'before anything else'? when half the people use it before anything else wouldn't make sense so surely bae doesn't either? the youth of today...

Ball joint snapped on a roundabout outside of Guildford today, fortunately not too much damage, only a tyre and squashed front valance to repair, just pissed off from these stupid potholes.....

It's not so bad in a 'modern' car, but, in a Mini, you can shatter your teeth as well.

was it a genuine ball joint? just out of interest...
Nov 19 2014 05:14 AM -

Yup, genuine ball joint from minispares. I recon some non-genuine joints are as good as genuine, as long as they are best treated
