Not good dude, If that was me I would this as a good excuse to buy some extra bits for my car and tell the missus that damn valve costs a fortune! That's assuming it's a cheap fix??

Cheap fix - just a 1/4 tap
if it was the manifold it was bolted to
that would kill the compressor
so lucky

I don't think they are new to be honest, just rebuilt to a good spec. :/. RooBoonix - I don't think you could get near the quality of a set carbs rebuilt by Burlin at home. I've rebuilt my single hs2, which was a fairly simple job, but these would come back like a set of new carbs.I understand your thought process though, and partly agree.

Fair enough, I haven't seen a set of restored carbs before/after (never really looked) but I know I wouldn't want to pay those prices haha

Some on the Mk1 Forum have looked into this but cost of manufacture for small quantities is too expensive.
'59 Register sell the early boot mat below but not cheap.....
The 1959 Mini Register have had a limited run of full length boot mats reproduced. These
are good copies of the original mat and are £195.00 each including UK Mainland postage.

It's called miniselecta. Make your mini, save the image, upload to an image hosting site and paste the code in your signature field..
