How much would a garage charge to replace a rear subframe on a late Rover mini?.....this update will self destruct in 10 lagers

Probably, but MaxandPaddy, if you do it carefully take your time and ask shifty to help or someone nearer then it will be easy.
What have you got to do?... Wheels off, exhaust off, undo the subframe bolts and drop it out.
:) If I lived closer I'd come and help.

Not sure if we're gonna buy it yet or not
Thinking about it

A frame could cost anything from £650 upwards, the price depends on how many bolts snap, what rust you(will) find when its removed and whats worn. That could be radius arms, brakes lines, shocks etc. If everything is required(and knowing you you would want genuine) then it could easily be a £1200 bill.

Yeah, I was expecting it to be quite high on the emissions side, but at idle it was running lean, which was a bit strange..... whether it picks up when you press the loud pedal I don't know though, what with the needle being profiled? It runs well anyway...
